First I would like to say that I am very pleased with Amazon. Item was shipped very quickly and I got it much faster than expected. I ordered Tuesday got it Thursday even with standard shipping! Watch was packed very well and even came in the original packing which does not always happen when buying online.Now onto the watch.The watch came in the new hexagonal black tin from G-Shock. The watch is not a dark black color. It is very matte in color and almost a really dark grey which I really like. The texture of the watch band is great. Hard to explain exactly, its a mixture of plastic and rubber. The watch feels great on the wrist, not too heavy at all. The display is very bright and crisp. The pictures don't do justice, you really have to see it in person. One big thing I noticed is the four red sensor dots on the left of the watch are not as big as they look in pictures. They are actually pretty small. I had thought they were buttons at first but they are actually the sensor for the barometric pressureOverall Extremely happy with this purchase.

I ordered this watch online with amazon about a week ago, and I must say, I am impressed.First of all, although my order was bundled with three other items to make the most of the free shipping (on orders over $25), amazon split the watch into a second order that shipped much sooner than the rest. In fact, I got the watch less than two days from when I ordered it, which was a pleasant surprise. I was also able to track the package via amazon and USPS.Second, my watch very well packaged. The actual g-shock box was placed inside another box with a plastic air filler in a very secure manner. Needless to say, the actual watch itself was very safe inside the g-shock box.Third, my first impression of the watch and my impression after wearing it for three days are both one of amazement. The watch is very solid feeling: sturdy, secure, yet lightweight, despite its xl size (I can't even tell the difference between this and my last one, a third of the size). The feel and attention to detail on this watch are remarkable. I am not sure how accurate the barometer and thermometer are, but they are cool functions to have anyway. My favorite things about this watch are probably the double tanged resin strap and the ability to set five independent alarms. Not to mention the super bright back light.All in all, a great buy. I am 100% satisfied, and for close to half of the price, who can argue with that.
