I received the watch in less time than originally estimated so that's always a plus. I purchased this G-shock for its altimeter function and durability and so far it has exceeded my expectations. The face is large and the backlight is an amazing blue. It was able to automatically decipher between the elevation in one of the buildings I work at while riding the elevator. I would recommend this G-shock to anyone.

This is a very big and red watch that warrants attention. It stands out from the mundane black and silver around. I have received many compliments although some family members have told me that it looks like a "kid's watch". The screen is easy to see and the light works great for dark conditions. I haven't had a chance to check the barometer and altitude for accuracy but appear to be ok. The temperature tends to read somewhere between your body temp and actual temperature. For an accurate read it needs to be off your wrist for atleast 10-15 minutes which limits its usage as a handy temperature gauge. This does limit the temperature feature somewhat but is still cool. Overall I love the way this watch looks and functions. It is sturdy and waterproof. I have already tested it at the beach and in the pool.Pros: Attractive color and design with nice features.Cons: Pricey for a digital watch. I wish the temperature sensor was accurate while on the wrist.Overall very satisfied and would by a G-Shock again.
